Notice of Annual General Meeting for EMSCC - June 6

Ethel Milliken School Community Council
Annual General Meeting
Tuesday, June 6th at 7:00 pm
School Library

The Ethel Milliken School Community is entering a long awaited transition as we prepare to say farewell to many families who will be making the move to École Harbour Landing School, including our current chair Kathleen Eisler, and several parent volunteers.  We thank you for your service to our community!

We will have more than half of our existing families staying with EMS, and we look forward to welcoming the many new families registering for the coming 2017-18 school year.  These changes of course have some ripple effects, including openings for the Community Council.  If your child is staying at Ethel Milliken, we invite you to attend the AGM, and to consider putting your name forward for Council to further enhance our community in the new school year.

During the Annual Meeting:

  1. School Community Council (SCC) members will be elected
  2. The SCC will provide an Annual Report
  3. Conduct other business determined by the SCC
  4. The SCC will provide a forum for dialogue with parents and the community
  5. Any amendments to the Constitution will be discussed and voted on

The following positions are open for nominations:
