Please attend the first Ethel Milliken School Community Council meeting on

Tuesday Sept. 15th at 7:00 in the School Library

This first meeting is to introduce the new executive for this school term and to brainstorm and set up goals and priorities to be achieved throughout this school year.  Please come out and support your child's school by getting involved with EMSCC.  Attendance is voluntary and we are always looking for ideas and people who want to help and have a voice!

REMEMBER to order your child's school supplies on line through School Start for the 2015/2016 school year.  This process will save you both time and money. As well, it will help ensure all students arrive on the first day of school ready to learn with all their needed supplies.  This program was successfully implemented at Ethel Milliken last year and is used in other Regina schools but is completely optional to you.

As an added bonus, the EMSCC will receive $5 / kit back as a fundraiser

 There are a few simple steps to ensure your child will receive standardized brand name products (specified by each teacher).

1.)   Visit www.schoolstart.ca to place your order online.

2.)   The order form lists all of the supplies your child’s teacher has requested.  You may not need to purchase some of the items (i.e. scissors, calculator, pencil case) if your child already has them.  Just pick and choose items to buy.

3.)   You can place your order online at www.schoolstart.ca . Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal are accepted.

4.)   Late orders will still  be accepted online until September 16, 2015 (a $5 late fee will be applied)

5.)   The kit will be delivered directly to your home.  The benefits of home delivery are:

Ethel Milliken Potluck Celebration June 18th

 

Please join the Ethel Milliken School Community Council as we celebrate the end of another successful school year with a potluck picnic.  This is a family event – students MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian – please bring the whole family to enjoy some amazing food and socializing.

 

                Food Drop Off: 5:30

 

                Event Time: 6:00-8:00

 

 Ethel Milliken School Yard / Gym

 

This is a FREE event! (Donations gratefully accepted and School Spirit Clothing will be available for purchase)

 

In order for this event to be a success, we are asking for parent volunteers to help out.  Please see the link to the volunteer spot (sign on using your email address) to help with either the setup, clean up or other jobs during the event.
