All families are encouraged to sign up for a parent-teacher conference. Conferences will be held on November 15; students will not have school that day. Kindergarten conferences will be held on November 15 and 16, there will not be school for kindergarten students on either of those days. Conferences will be approximately 15 minutes in length and parents have the option to attend in person or virtually.

Remember to leave the Halloween candy and treats at home! Please only healthy lunches and healthy snacks at school this week! Have a safe and happy Halloween!

Congratulations to Nicky who was principal on Friday, October 28. Nicky was a very busy principal and had a great day. Students raised $452.00 for the United Way! Nicky earned money for his contest entries by shoveling driveways in his neighbourhood and asking friends and neighbours if they would donate to the United Way! Thank you to all who participated. OCTOBER 27, 2022 -- Public Schools of Saskatchewan will be recognizing public school student groups or classes that support citizenship or character building within their schools or community by providing annual Student Citizenship Awards. Student groups or classes at elementary and high school will be recognized for their contributions. There will be three $1,000 awards for Grades 1 to 8 and three $1,000 awards for Grades 9 to 12.

Unfortunately, we have a number of parent drivers who are refusing to obey the traffic laws in front of our school putting our students at risk. There are designated drop off areas, the green cones that say "NO STOPPING" mark off places where you cannot stop. Daily, parents stop at the cones and, when our staff or safety patrollers politely ask them to move, they refuse indicating they are just dropping off their child. All motorists in front of our school are dropping off children; this is not a valid excuse to disobey the traffic rules and it blocks sight lines for the crosswalks.

The United Way is the charity of choice in Regina Public. The United Way supports many initiatives in our schools including literacy programming and summer success reading camps. ” To raise funds for the United Way, we are offering a “Principal for a day to support United Way” campaign.
