We have an increasing number of students who do not know their home phone number or the cell numbers for their parents. In the event of an emergency, it is critically important that all of our students know the contact numbers for their family. We are very dependent on technological devices to store information but, in an emergency, a cell phone could be lost, broken, stolen, uncharged or not available. For this reason, we are beginning a "know your numbers" challenge. Each day, we will be drawing a random student name and, if that student can tell us their phone number(s) correctly, they will win a small prize and their names will be entered to win a gift card.
Practice with your child at home; even some of our oldest students do not know their home number or their parent/guardian's phone numbers! This contest will begin on Monday!
