It’s our favourite week of the year! Staff Appreciation is here and this week the Ethel Milliken School Community Council has transformed the staffroom into the Milliken Famers Market! The EMSCC says,

Q: What time will the school day begin?
Congratulations to Ela Lewis, principal for a day for 2023. This fundraiser earned $454.00 for the United Way. Principal Lewis had a busy day doing announcements, inspecting the AED, approving supervision and attendance, meeting with the SCC chair, meeting with the Superintendent, doing playground supervision, completing a teacher professional observation and feedback, and writing and posting the weekly staff memo. The SCC Gift Card Wreath raffle is live! Click here to purchase raffle tickets to win one of 3 gift card wreaths. Each wreath is valued at $615.00! The draw will be made at 7:00 pm on Wednesday December 6. All proceeds will go towards the SCC's initiatives to support our students. Classes can also get points toward their nest if purchasers select a classroom to support!
Everyone's favourite contest is back! Starting tomorrow, students can enter to win the principal for a day for United Way contest. Students can purchase tickets for $1.00 each. Each ticket will be entered into the draw and all of the proceeds will go to the United Way of Regina!
The United Way is the charity of choice in Regina Public. The United Way supports many initiatives in our schools including literacy programming and summer success reading camps.
