You are cordially invited to Ethel Milliken’s Kindergarten Parent/Guardian Orientation.
Where: Ethel Milliken Gym
When: Thursday, June 15th, 7:00 pm-8:00 pm
Who: Adults only; If you do not have childcare, please send one parent/guardian only. This event is not for the kindergarten children, their event will be the next day, Friday, June 16.
What: This evening will give Parents/Guardians information about the Kindergarten program, transportation, A and B days, lunch, speech and language services, school supplies, drop off/pick up and other information. Parents/Guardians will have the opportunity to see the Kindergarten classroom, to meet staff, to ask questions and to learn more about Kindergarten at Ethel Milliken School. Parents/Guardians will receive a folder with information including which class their child will be in and a calendar of days the student will attend school.
Try Kindergarten Event: The Try Kindergarten event will occur the following day, Friday, June 16th. This will be a 30 minute opportunity for your child to meet the teacher, to meet some classmates, and to experience a little taste of what it will be like in Kindergarten. We will have a sign up at our Parent/Guardian event so families can choose a time that best works for their family.
