To celebrate the return of all our eagles to in-person learning tomorrow, we are inviting our staff and students to participate in a "Sweatpants and Sports Jerseys" spirit day on Friday, October 23!

There is no school for students on Monday October 26, this is the day of the Provincial election. Our school gym is being used as a polling station however the voters will enter through the foyer directly into the gym. They will not be in any other part of our school building. The staff will be participating in professional development in the main school building. The gymnasium and the gymnasium washrooms will be disinfected following the election in addition to the regular school-wide daily disinfection, prior to the students returning to school on Tuesday, October 27.

Did you notice several workmen on our roof yesterday? They were tradespeople who were at our school beginning the installation of our new air purification system! We are so excited and we know how important this initiative is to our community. Regina Public Schools is investing in new purification systems for every school and building. New filter technology will begin to be added to ventilation systems to complement the increased air flow. Phase one deployment of our ionization units has now been completed!

Regina Public Schools is working hard to keep all our students safe during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

We have already had several schools that have had students or staff who have had tested positive for COVID-19. These cases impact schools, classrooms and school bus transportation.

On the Evening of October 14^th, Saskatchewan Health Authority informed Regina Public Schools that there were two student cases of COVID-19 at Ethel Milliken School. The cases were in two different classrooms.
